Rosemary & Harry Mountain

Sculptor Harry Mountain explores movement and time through a variety of media, from mud to bronze. In the 1980s, he began a detailed investigation of the ancient Celts, published as The Celtic Encyclopedia (1998). Rosemary Mountain is a composer in both instrumental and electroacoustic media, working also in interdisciplinary contexts. Their lives have been characterized by research and travel; they moved to Montréal in 1999 after several years in Europe. Currently they are working on three projects in collaboration: The Interactive Multimedia Playroom, the WindDancer project and a music theatre work based on an ancient Celtic tale.
