Nahum

Nahum is an artist, curator and musician currently living in London and Mexico City. He studied at the Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), the Technological Institute (Tec) of Monterrey and obtained an MA at Goldsmiths University of London. His work revolves around topics in science whilst addressing its relationship to the fantastical and magical realms. Nahum has performed and exhibited his work in venues including the London Institute of Contemporary Arts (ICA), Southbank Centre, Battersea Arts Centre, The Place in London, The Basement in Brighton, Laboratorio Arte Alameda and the Fonoteca Nacional in Mexico City. From 2008 to present, he has been an associate artist and curator at The Arts Catalyst in London. Here, he organises KOSMICA; a series of galactic gatherings that have taken place in London, Liverpool, Paris, Hasselt and Mexico City. Furthermore, he coordinates the Technical Committee for the Cultural Utilisations of Space inside the International Astronautical Federation.
