Juliana Rosales

Juliana Rosales is an artist, architect, photographer and curator working in Montevideo, Uruguay. She earned a degree from the Architectural School of the Universidad de la República in Montevideo in 1990 and obtained a Masters Degree in Architecture from the Southern California Institute of Architecture in 1999. As an artist, her work focuses on the digital and landscape, architecture and nature, and she is interested in the possibilities offered by translating and digitizing data from one media to another. Most recently, Rosales was commissioned to create an installation on the interior façade of the Centro Cultural de España in Montevideo to address environmental issues.
