Emmanuelle Choquette

Emmanuelle Choquette is a researcher, curator and cultural worker. He research focuses on the influence of the production and dissemination context on current artistic practices, particularly in installation. She co-curated the shows An Annotated Bibliography in Real Time: Performance Art in Quebec and Canada, in 2015 and Reading Performance, in 2017, both at Artexte, in Montreal. Her writings are published in the art magazines Espace art actuel, esse art + opinions and ETC Média and M – La revue du musée des beaux-arts de Montréal. She received the Jean-Claude Rochefort Award for curatorial studies in 2014 and 2017. She participated in curatorial research residencies at Est-Nord-Est and Artexte. She was a member of the board of Regroupement des centres d’artistes autogérés (RCAAQ) from 2015 to 2017. She is currently director of Arprim, centre d’essai en art imprimé, an artists-run center in Montreal.
