Initiated by the Société des arts technologiques (SAT), in collaboration with the Conseil québécois des arts médiatiques (CQAM), Eastern Bloc, OBORO, PRIM, Elektra, MASSIVart, Studio XX, Labo NT2, Agence TOPO and Vidéographe, are proud to present the sixth Labsessions night to be held Wednesday, April 16, 2014, 5 pm to 7 pm at OBORO.
Following February 2014's call for proposals, two emerging artists in digital arts were selected. Each artist will make a short presentation (or demo) during the Labsessions evening, before a panel of representatives of artist-run centers. Following these presentations and in a spirit of constructive criticism, they emit comments or recommendations which will be presented later in writing.
At will, the partner organizations could offer in addition to Labsessions varying types of support, depending on their mandate and available resources (access to specialized equipment, lab facilities, technical support, consulting or mentoring, access to an activity or a festival, etc.).

Labsessions gatherings are designed to provide a showcase and a helpful hand for emerging artists in digital arts. These evenings are also a forum and meeting place for artists, stakeholders and community organizations.
