The format of this presentation is a hybrid work-in-progress performance and artist talk. Barrow will be workshopping his recent manual animation/digital puppetry - amalgamating new and antiquated technologies. Barrow will combine an emulated late 1980s AMIGA animation software with Zoom to present their most recent manual animations at OBORO. Date to be announced soon.
Barrow has for years endeavoured to forge artistic exchanges with the viewer, striving in their performance work to discover new ways to further implicate and engage a viewer in a narrative gesture. In an effort to engage purposefully with a live audience in these unprecedented times, Barrow is soliciting viewers with iPhones to participate in a 10-minute text/exchange using iMessage's Sketch function to inform the content of this presentation.
